We understand that internet access in many regions, especially offshore, can be unavailable, slow, or prohibitively expensive. Accessing weather information via satellite, in particular, is often very slow and costly.
With these challenges in mind, and drawing from our own sailing routes and the needs of fellow cruisers, we built this page to load quickly even on low-bandwidth connections.
All images are optimized for minimal data usage.
Thanks to Saildocs service, no matter which email you have, (winlink/sailmail/iridium/inmarsat/gmail), you can receive by mail map or chart following this instruction:
Send a new email to the address query@saildocs.com, subject could be empty, in the body write GET followed by the link that you want to receive back.
